Accommodation Details
Spacious and Comfortable
Our 8-berth static caravan offers ample space for your family. It features three bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sleep. There is one double room, and two twin rooms. The rooms are small, but provide everything you need: bed, storage, heating and light.
Facilities
Enjoy modern conveniences such as a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a cosy living room with a TV. The caravan also has a bathroom with a shower. There will soon be a washing machine installed in the outside storage space. The caravan has Vodafone internet connection and there is a ps4 hooked up to the living room TV.
The cooker really could do with an upgrade, because the little knobs on the cooker to turn on the gas slide on and off. I want to be upfront about that because it is something that bugs me when I try to use them. We plan to replace it soon!
Outdoor Space
Take advantage of the outdoor gravelled area. There is room to park, and also room to set up for a picnic or have a paddling pool on the grass.
Decor
We have a slightly dated caravan, with typical caravan decor. It is important to use to be upfront about this incase you expect a modern ‘van. I have included some pictures of the caravan so you can get a feel for what to expect during your stay.
It is important to us to mention that this caravan has predominantly been used for David’s forestry business – Apex Forestry. This means there can be areas of damage or muddy marks that we just can’t remove even if they have been cleaned. This is something you may notice on the rug or carpet. The caravan is also dog-friendly, dog stay there regularly.
Other
In some of the storage spaces, we have added things to make it easier for families who stay at the caravan. In the cupboards under the TV there are some board games, jigsaws and a couple of baby toys. There are DVDs in the cupboards in the living room also.
In the kitchen, there are some herbs and spices, sauces etc. You absolutely do not have to use these, but are welcome to if you want to. Under the kitchen sink we try to keep it stocked with black bags and small bin bags. There are cleaning supplies here and under the bathroom sink. We don’t keep a certain stock under there at all times, we just update it when we visit and some other families who stay also replace things if they run out.
There are some other miscellaneous toys under the beds – a bat and ball game, paddling pool and there’s a few other outdoor toys.

Scenic and Serene
Located in the beautiful Dunoon area, Hunters Quay Holiday Village offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a family getaway. There are a lot of outdoor activities nearby like Benmore Botanical Gardens, Clachaig forests, Puck’s Glen and so much more! We have left a few travel books for the area in the caravan.

Family-Friendly Facilities
The holiday village boasts a range of facilities, including indoor, heated swimming pools, a leisure complex, a small play park, a jumping cushion, arcades, mini-golf and various dining options. There are also organized activities and entertainment for children, ensuring they have a fun-filled stay.
When renting a caravan directly from an owner, you get their key-fob to enter the owners area of the caravan park. This key fob also gets you access to the swimming pools for free.

Availability
Our caravan is available for rent throughout the year (we have recently been told that the park might be closing in February and November each year Mon-Fri and that it would only be available at the weekend).
